iOS 7

Time passed and the moment arrived Apple to present it's new iOS. It is called the iOS 7. It looks different. It looks better. But is it really going to be better and to be a breakthrough in all ways? At first sight you can see changes in the icons design. Everything was redesigned from the ground up. The icons have now a flat design.

Motion tracking. This feature allows users to see how the screen moves after their own movements and roll the background image in the direction the device moves.

The weather app was also redesigned. It shows the outside weather conditions live on the screen. For example: if outside is rain, the app shows rain on the background of the app.

The message app was redesignet, not to show any glossy corners for the chat bubbles.

The major news that will come with the iOS 7 is the Control Center that gives the opportunity to adjust the settings from a drop-down window, as shown in the first image. That is really good because you don't have to enter every time the settings meu to adjust some background light or ringer volume.

The other major improvement is the looks of the Multitasking Menu. When it opens it shows a new window and the running apps are shown in a larger form than used until now. You can see that in the third picture above.

And last but not least, there is AirDrop. It is a feature that gives users the possibility to share media with their friends or other Apple users. You for example can share photos or contacts using a single share button and connect to a friends iPhone via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The shared content will be saved in appropriate locations, for example a photo will be saved in the Photos App and a contact will be saved in Contacts. You can see the AirDrop Menu in the third image below.

So, we have new design, some new features but still no widgets. Is it good? Or is it bad? What do you think? Fans will love the new iOS. Some will say it is the same thing with some slight color changes. Let us know what you feel?

iOS 7 is available already for developers on iPhone. iPad support will come at a later date. Consumers have to wait until this fall to take a taste of the new iOS.
