Apple Set to Open 33 New Retail Stores Over Next Two Months

Looks like the guys at Apple Retail are going crazy! According to a new report, Apple plans to open 33 Retail Stores within the next two months. Roughly, this means that a new Apple Retail store will be opened every 50 hours, over the next two months. Crazy!
An Apple spokesperson said:
Our retail offering continues to [grow], with Penrith the 11th store in Australia, since we opened Apple Store Sydney just three years ago. Globally we are planning to have 363 stores in fiscal 2011
Earlier this year, Apple celebrated a whole decade of its Retail Operations. In a span of 10 years, Apple Retail Stores have catered to the needs of over 1 billion visitors, globally. Apple Stores teach new Mac adopters how they can making the switch easily, while people are just awestruck over the other devices that Apple offers.

Apple is rapidly expanding their Retail network globally. According to a previous report Apple's partner in China,Foxconn will also be investing $1.6 billion in China for stores that will sell Apple products. Looks like Apple has its sights on becoming the only manufacturer with the most number of retail outlets, globally.
