iOS 5 beta 4 Comes With Support For Syncing Documents To iCloud

It has just been two days since Apple has released iOS 5 beta 4 for developers. Already, a lot of discoveries are being made in the latest beta of iOS 5 and one such discovery is that iOS 5 beta 4 brings support for syncing documents to iCloud.

iOS 5 beta 4 now brings ability for you to sync your documents made in the iWork suite with iCloud. iWork suite apps include Pages, Keynote and Numbers all of which are available for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Allow Apple to explain how this works:

"Apps make it possible to create amazing presentations, write reports, and more right from your iOS device. You don’t have to manage your documents in a complicated file system or remember to save your work. Your documents are just there, stored in your apps, and ready whenever you need them. And now, your apps can store that information in iCloud. Which means you can access your documents — with your latest updates — on whichever device you happen to be using at the time. Even better, this all happens automatically, without any effort from you."

Basically, this ends the hassle of syncing large amounts of data to any other iOS device. Simply set up your iCloud account on that very account and all of your presentations and reports will automatically be downloaded to the new device.

Sounds fun, have you tried it out yet?
